Front desk agent - Gent
We are looking for a front desk agent to join our team in Ghent. As a front desk agent, you will always be responsible for creating the first impression at the hotel, as you will be the point of contact for all guest enquiries before and during their stay.
We are looking for someone who can take responsibility: working at weekends or on public holidays does not put you off.
You spot tasks that need doing and are happy to take the initiative.
Experience as a front office staff member in the hotel sector is a plus!
You speak and write fluently in Dutch, French and English.

A varied range of duties:
You will be the first point of contact for our guests and will help ensure they have a positive experience from the moment they arrive. You will provide a warm welcome, explain our concept and offer assistance with any questions or requests before and during their stay.
You will carry out administrative tasks such as booking registration and invoicing.
You will carry out quality checks on the cleaning team and make adjustments where necessary.
You will compile a list of repairs and follow up on work carried out.
Profile:
You are helpful by nature and enjoy making guests feel at home.
You are both a team player and someone who can work independently and on your own.
We are looking for someone who can take responsibility: working at weekends or on public holidays does not put you off.
Language skills are important to us, including English, French and Dutch.
We are looking for someone who spots work that needs doing and takes the initiative. Experience as a front office staff member in the hotel sector is a plus!
